TERMS OF SERVICE โ LEXTOWN-01 (playlextown.com)
Effective July 7, 2026
By playing LEXTOWN-01 you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't connect โ the source code is still yours to run under the MIT license.
WHAT THIS IS
LEXTOWN-01 is a free, experimental, fan-made multiplayer game โ a stylized, fictionalized homage to downtown Lexington, Kentucky. It is an independent art project: not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, Roblox Corporation, Google, Amazon, or any of the businesses whose buildings are loosely depicted. Building shapes and street names are used geographically and artistically.
CONDUCT
The world and its chat are shared and public. Don't:
- harass, threaten, or defame other players;
- post unlawful content, spam, or other people's personal information;
- impersonate real people in a misleading way;
- cheat, exploit, attack, overload, or otherwise interfere with the service (the server enforces movement and rate limits โ treat them as the rules of the road).
We may block, disconnect, or ban anyone, and remove anything, at our sole discretion, with or without notice.
NO WARRANTY, NO LIABILITY
The game is provided "as is", with no warranty of any kind. It may break, reset, lose your chat, wipe the world, or shut down permanently at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator's total liability to you is $0. It's a free toy about a mid-size Kentucky city; please calibrate expectations accordingly.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The code is open source under the MIT license at github.com/paul-codes-1/lextown. You send chat messages at your own choice; they are relayed, not stored.
